Whilst Chloé Robinson has only come to fruition as a moniker in recent years her bloodlines in electronic music run over a decade deeper via her Barely Legal alias. Now with a compelling mix of polyrhythmic techno, electro, UK garage and more, the London-based artist has kept her new momentum moving through a diligent touring calendar and music schedule. Having toured Europe, Asia, Australia and South America over the years, she has also flexed her curatorial muscle with club tours across the EU and big-name festival stages via Pretty Weird showcases and takeovers.
Beyond her bookings, Chloé has found ongoing support from some of the most influential electronic artists around. This year, her venture into productions collaborating alongside DJ ADHD saw her self release her debut EP on own label Pretty Weird. The ‘Steamin EP’ with a Four Tet Remix to boot was one of the most anticipated releases of the year and earned plaudits from the likes of Peggy Gou, Bonobo, Ben UFO, Skrillex, Bradley Zero, Joy Orbison, Daphni/Caribou, Floating Points and many more. In turn she has been invited to play B2B or part of showcases with Jamie XX, Four Tet, Skrillex, Special Request, Hessle Audio and more and many huge industry players.
Key shows include multiple performances at Glastonbury, Printworks, Panorama Bar, Circoloco at DC10, Fabric, The Warehouse Project and Amnesia to name a few, with these high-profile appearances riding in tandem to radio/streaming features on some of the biggest online platforms in the world. Counting previous residencies for BBC Radio 1Xtra and Rinse FM as just some of her highlights, she has also been commissioned by the world renowned BBC Essential Mix series (twice!), Resident Advisor, Mixmag, Boiler Room and BBC 6 Music for mixes that have been collectively played hundreds of thousands of times.
